Soccer Game Preview: Poinciana vs. Osceola

The Poinciana Eagles and the Osceola Kowboys will compete for holiday cheer at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Poinciana is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Poinciana is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Celebration on Monday. Poinciana might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Celebration an easy 4-1 win. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 477th, while the Storm are ranked 82nd).

Meanwhile, Osceola didn't have quite enough to beat Gateway on Thursday and fell 3-2. The defeat continues a trend for the Kowboys in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Osceola's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4. As for Poinciana, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-9.
