Softball Recap: Halls Comes Up Short

Halls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ripley. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Halls of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Halls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kyleigh Ward, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Halls' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Ripley, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Looking ahead, Halls will take on Peabody at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up.
