Softball Game Preview: Glendale Vikings vs. Curwensville Golden Tide

The Glendale Vikings will face off against the Curwensville Golden Tide at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Friday just wasn't the day for Glendale's offense. They lost 10-0 to Central on Friday. The Vikings' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 13 runs the game before, Curwensville was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They came up short against West Branch, falling 9-1. Like the Vikings, the Golden Tide also had to let a streak go: they had won four straight, but that streak is no more.

Curwensville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Siple, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Glendale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Curwensville, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
