Baseball Recap: Jordan Beats George Washington Prep for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Jordan came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the George Washington Prep Generals 22-7. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly 15 runs.

Kevin Ramirez was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and two runs. Jordan is undefeated when Ramirez posts three or more RBI, but 1-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Carlos Hinojosa, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Ramirez wasn't the only one making solid contact: Jordan kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive contests.

The win got Jordan back to even at 4-4. As for George Washington Prep, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against View Park at 1:30 p.m. on the 21st. As for George Washington Prep, they will welcome the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
