East Lansing put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Waverly Warriors by a score of 74-62. With that victory, the Trojans brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Lansing to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kingston (KT) Thomas, who went 10-for-16 to rack up 24 points and six rebounds. The contest was Thomas' sixth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelvin (KJ) Torbert, Jr., who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 boards.

East Lansing was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

East Lansing's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Waverly, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.

East Lansing will take on Roseville in a holiday battle at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. Waverly and Sexton will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
