Volleyball Recap: Temple Christian Pioneers vs. Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets
Temple Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They came up short against the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets, falling 3-0. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Fighting Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played two weeks ago.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-15, 25-19.
Temple Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-19. As for Cory-Rawson, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-17.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Temple Christian will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Ridgemont at 6:00 p.m. As for Cory-Rawson, they will face off against Miller City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
