Softball Recap: Kuna Takes a Loss

Kuna fell victim to Owyhee and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Storm. The defeat continues a trend for the Kavemen in their meetings with the Storm: they've now lost five in a row.

Rylee Mangum spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and two unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.

Kuna now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Owyhee, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.
