Volleyball Recap: Euclid Gets the Win

The Euclid Panthers narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Avon Eagles 3-2.

Euclid wouldn't go down easily and took Avon into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-14, 16-25, 23-25, 15-12.

Euclid's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Avon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Avon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Rhodes on the 3rd. Hopefully Euclid payed attention to the Eagles' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
