Volleyball Recap: Cartersville Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Victory

Cartersville came tearing into Saturday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Harrison Hoyas by a score of 2-0. The Hurricanes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hoyas, too.

Mckenzie Wilkie was the offensive standout of the game as she had eight digs and two aces.

They weren't the only good server: Cartersville was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in October of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Harrison lost, don't look at Addison Cooley. Despite the final result, she had nine digs and two assists.

Cartersville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Harrison, they moved to 4-2 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Cartersville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Alpharetta on the 9th. As for Harrison, they will welcome Allatoona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
