Basketball Recap: Kole Spotted's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Tongue River over Greybull

Tongue River lost against Greybull back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tongue River Eagles fell just short of the Greybull Buffaloes by a score of 42-40.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kole Spotted, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Kenyonn Snell was another key player, going 5 for 11 on his way to 12 points.

Tongue River's loss was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Greybull, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Tongue River wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 44-39 defeat against Big Horn on the 6th. As for Greybull, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-45 win against Riverside on the 6th.
