Softball Recap: Palm Springs Comes Up Short on the Road Against Yucca Valley

Palm Springs had to start their season on the road on Monday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Yucca Valley Trojans, falling 13-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 19 in a row.

Yucca Valley's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Palm Springs will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Jurupa Valley on Friday. As for Yucca Valley, they will welcome Rancho Mirage at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
