Henry Allen gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. He did his part (and then some), striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off three hits for the 'W'. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Looking ahead, Allen and Baylor will be taking part in a tournament against Bradley Central at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Bradley Central will enter the matchup having just beaten North Murray, so Baylor will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
