            Williston put another one in the bag  on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victor by  a  16-1 margin over the Hawthorne Hornets. Considering the Red Devils have won three games by more than nine  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Jacob Loock made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he  struck out seven batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Those seven  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  double. That  stolen base marked the first that  he's  stolen this season.

 In other batting news, Williston got a  massive  performance out of  Braige Schneider, who  scored four  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance gave  Schneider a new career-high in  runs.  Jude Bailey was another key player,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 3-for-3.
 Williston  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .677. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Williston's win was  their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 4-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 10.4 runs. As for Hawthorne,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-3.
 Looking ahead, Williston will head out on the road to  square off against  Union County  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Union County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.4  runs per game  this season. As for Hawthorne, they will welcome Countryside Christian  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
