Volleyball Recap: Trinity Takes Down Ranked Lafayette

Trinity faced Lafayette in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Shamrocks put the hurt on the Generals with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Shamrocks also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Trinity never let Lafayette on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-15, 26-24.

Trinity pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Lafayette, they moved to 15-9 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Trinity will challenge DuPont Manual at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Lafayette does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
