Volleyball Recap: Amplus Academy Archers vs. Las Vegas Wildcats
Amplus Academy lost against Las Vegas back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Amplus Academy Archers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Las Vegas Wildcats.
The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Las Vegas scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-17, 22-25, 25-19.
Armand Nahabedian paced Amplus Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Nahabedian got some help from Gideon Schelin and his 23 assists. Maxwell Ganley controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.
Frisky Palo was a one-man wrecking crew for Las Vegas as he had ten digs and five aces. The dominant performance also gave Palo a new career-high in assists (17). Omar Duarte also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

Amplus Academy will face off against Bonanza at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Las Vegas, they will challenge Eldorado at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Las Vegas is facing Eldorado at the right time seeing as Eldorado is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
