Keller had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Friday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Timber Creek Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Indians have posted against the Falcons since April 12, 2022.

Keller got a great performance from Avery Lawton as she didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Mackenna Jackson, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Carley Genzer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Keller's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-6-1. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Timber Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 16-11.

Coincidentally, Keller and Timber Creek will both be playing V.R. Eaton the next time they take the field. The Falcons will host the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Indians will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
