Softball Recap: Omro Comes Up Short

Omro fell victim to Winnebago Lutheran Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Vikings, falling 10-0. The loss leaves the Foxes still looking for their first win of the season.

Omro's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Winnebago Lutheran Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Omro will take on rival North Fond du Lac at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Winnebago Lutheran Academy is set to face off against their familiar foe Lomira at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for the Vikings: they have been struggling with five straight losses at home, while the Lions have snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
