Providence Catholic proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by ten) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Downers Grove North Trojans, sneaking past 3-1. That's more bragging rights for the Celtics, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Providence Catholic's record now sits at 17-9. As for Downers Grove North, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Providence Catholic will challenge Joliet Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Downers Grove North, they will face off against Sandburg at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
