Softball Recap: Cheyenne Takes a Loss

Cheyenne was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Moapa Valley Pirates, falling 22-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 back in March.

Cheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Moapa Valley, they pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cheyenne is set to face off against their familiar foe Western at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Moapa Valley will challenge rival Mater Academy East Las Vegas at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
