Basketball Recap: Baruch College's Winning Streak Snapped at Three Games

After flying high against Esperanza Preparatory Academy last Monday, Baruch College came back down to earth. Baruch College fell 81-68 to Community Health Academy on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Monday (62), Baruch College still had to take the loss.

Baruch College moved to 6-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Community Health Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-3.

Baruch College will square off against West End at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Baruch College has won four straight at home, while West End won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change. As for Community Health Academy, they will challenge Esperanza Preparatory Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Community Health Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Esperanza Preparatory Academy likes a good challenge.
