Football Game Preview: Holyoke Purple Knights vs. Lee/Lenox Memorial Wildcats

The Holyoke Purple Knights will venture away from home to face off against the Lee/Lenox Memorial Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Holyoke came up short against Agawam and fell 28-15. The Purple Knights have struggled against the Brownies recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Holyoke's defeat came about despite a quality game from Devin Velez, who threw for 236 yards and two TDs.

Meanwhile, Lee/Lenox Memorial put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 41-0 victory over Pittsfield. Fans of the Wildcats have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Holyoke now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Lee/Lenox Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 3-0.
