Softball Recap: Yorktown Takes a Loss

Harrison hit Yorktown with a six-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Huskers fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 8-7. The Huskers haven't had much luck with the Huskies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Yorktown's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Harrison, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Yorktown will square off against Arlington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Harrison, they will challenge Byram Hills at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
