Football Recap: Jackson Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Jackson Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Sparta Academy Warriors and fell 50-8. The Eagles lost against the Warriors in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 58-40 score last time.

Jackson Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sparta Academy, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 3-2.

Jackson Academy and Sparta Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Eagles see the field they'll take on Hooper Academy at 7:00 p.m. on October 3. As for Sparta Academy, their break will end when they face Lakeside School at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
