Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Oglethorpe County walked away with it. They came out on top against the Bremen Blue Devils by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. The Patriots are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 20 straight.

Oglethorpe County was led to victory by Haley Matthews and Carlie Gabriel. Matthews had eight digs and two aces, while Gabriel had six digs and four assists. That's the most aces Matthews has posted since October 4th.

They weren't the only good servers: Oglethorpe County was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in 20 consecutive contests.

Oglethorpe County's record is now 32-8. As for Bremen, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight matches and leaves them with a 36-8 record.

As of now, neither Oglethorpe County nor the Blue Devils have any future games scheduled.
