Volleyball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Find Success

Northwest Whitfield's tournament run continued when they took on Pepperell on Saturday. The Bruins walked away with a 2-0 win over the Dragons.

Jenna Quinn paced Northwest Whitfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Quinn got some help from Megan Torbett and her 12 assists. Torbett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Northwest Whitfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pepperell, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.

Northwest Whitfield has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Trion on the 23rd. As for Pepperell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Chattooga on the 23rd.
