Volleyball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Gets the Win

Northwest Whitfield saw some tournament action on Saturday. They came out on top against the Pepperell Dragons by a score of 2-0.

Jenna Quinn paced Northwest Whitfield's offense, picking up seven kills. Quinn got some help from Megan Torbett and her 12 assists. Torbett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Northwest Whitfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Pepperell, they moved to 6-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Northwest Whitfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Trion on the 23rd. As for Pepperell, they have also already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Chattooga on the 23rd.
