Joe Leal gave up the fewest walks he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and six unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high.
