The Eastern Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Warren Warriors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Eastern is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eastern duked it out with Belpre on Thursday. The Eagles never let the Golden Eagles get on the board and left with an 11-0 win. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Golden Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Ethan Edwards was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, keeping things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Hunter Needs, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Clayton Moore, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Eastern always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .519. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Belpre only posted an OBP of .000.

Jackson hit Warren with a five-run third inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors fell just short of the Ironman/Ironladies by a score of 8-6. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Ironman/Ironladies recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Warren's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Eastern, their record now sits at 11-4.

Eastern got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Warren by a conclusive 14-2 score. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Warriors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
