Central Lafourche made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ursuline Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Central Lafourche's pitchers stepped up to hand Ursuline Academy a 15-0 shutout on Friday. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matches by six runs or more this season.

Central Lafourche has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. Ursuline Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-7.

Coming up, Central Lafourche will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Covenant Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. As for Ursuline Academy, they will head out to take on St. Martin's Episcopal at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Ursuline Academy will need to watch out since St. Martin's Episcopal has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests.
