Volleyball Recap: Dominion Extends Winning Streak to Three

Dominion waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Rock Ridge Phoenix with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Dominion took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-15.

Dominion's victory bumped their record up to 15-8-1. As for Rock Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Dominion will take on rival Loudoun Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Rock Ridge is set to challenge their familiar foe Tuscarora at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
