Thorsby has gone 8-2 against Billingsley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rebels will square off against the Bears at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Thorsby barely beat Verbena the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Red Devils on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Rebels sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Brooklyn Reeser made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.4 strikeouts per game. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and two doubles. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Allie Reeser, who went 2-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Brinley Giambrone, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Thorsby always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .618. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Bears on Tuesday. Billingsley blew past Keith 17-2. Billingsley might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 12 runs or more this season.
Like Thorsby, Billingsley also got a great game from a two-way player: Kaliyah McCary. She tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. McCary was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.
In other batting news, Billingsley got a massive performance out of Sadie Primm, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. McKenna Manning was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.
Thorsby's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.7 runs over those games. As for Billingsley, their record is now 5-7.
Thursday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Thorsby has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .479. However, it's not like Billingsley struggles in that department as they've averaged .474. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Thorsby beat Billingsley 13-10 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rebels since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
