Basketball Recap: Catholic Takes a Loss

Catholic and Paul VI squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Catholic had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 72-42 loss at the hands of the Paul VI Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Crusaders have suffered since March 1, 2024.

Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 20-9. As for Paul VI, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-9.

Catholic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Paul VI, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Panthers duke it out with the Cardinals at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
