Basketball Recap: J'din Menton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Dobson over Mountain View

Dobson lost against Mountain View two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dobson Mustangs fell to the Mountain View Toros 62-57.

Dobson lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was J'Din Menton, who went 5-for-9 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. Those 13 points gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Julian Acereto, who posted 11 points and six boards.

Dobson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season. As for Mountain View, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.

Dobson has already played their next game, a 60-55 defeat against Skyline on the 12th. As for Mountain View, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-64 victory against Mesa on the 13th.
