Crater has gone a perfect 7-0 against North Eugene recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Comets will be playing at home against the Highlanders at 7:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Crater is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Thurston just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They had to suffer through a 44-7 loss at the hands of the Colts. The matchup marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 36-6, which was the final score in North Eugene's tilt against Churchill on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Highlanders in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost three in a row.

North Eugene's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Crater, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.
