For the second straight game, Skaneateles will face off against Marcellus. The Lakers will look to defend their home field on Saturday against the Mustangs at 2:00 p.m.

He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Hugh Carroll made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Cody Crane also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Skaneateles' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Marcellus, they moved to 2-7-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.
