After a string of four wins, Dwight Morrow's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of the Fair Lawn Cutters by a score of 2-1. If the Maroon Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Cutters when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Dwight Morrow's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Fair Lawn, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dwight Morrow will venture away from home to square off against Clifton at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Maroon Raiders are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Fair Lawn, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wayne Hills at 4:15 p.m. on the 20th.
