Basketball Game Preview: Jackson Academy Raiders vs. Presbyterian Christian Bobcats

The Jackson Academy Raiders will head out to face off against the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Presbyterian Christian took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Jackson Academy, who comes in off a win.

Jackson Academy is headed into the contest after thoroughly thrashing St. Joseph Catholic: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Jackson Academy blew St. Joseph Catholic out of the water with a 57-24 final score. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Raiders had established a 25 point advantage.

Meanwhile, Presbyterian Christian lost to Jackson Prep on the road by a 44-29 margin on Tuesday. The Bobcats have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Presbyterian Christian's loss dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Jackson Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won 13 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season.

Jackson Academy strolled past Presbyterian Christian in their previous meeting back in January by a score of 55-39. The rematch might be a little tougher for Jackson Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
