Baseball Game Preview: Bells Panthers vs. Gunter Tigers

Bells hasn't had much luck against Gunter recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will head out to challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Bells' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Gunter's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Gunter will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Bells extended their winning streak to three on Friday. Everything went the Panthers' way against Blue Ridge as they made off with a 7-1 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 contests by six runs or more this season.

Wilson hit Gunter with a seven-run second inning on Saturday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 10-9.

Gunter's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Bells, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Bells might still be hurting after the 13-0 defeat they got from Gunter in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
