New Town won the last time they faced Eastern Tech and things went their way on Friday too. New Town strolled past the Eastern Tech Mavericks with points to spare, taking the game 54-35. The win made it back-to-back victories for New Town.

The victory got New Town back to even at 5-5-1. As for Eastern Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

New Town won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Springdale Prep at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eastern Tech, they will face off against Towson on Monday.
