Varela lost to Braddock back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Vipers came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Vipers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 20-25, 26-24, 25-17.

Braddock lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Emily Royotorres, who had six digs and five aces.

Varela's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Braddock, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
