After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Pueblo Central brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They blew past the Sierra Stallions 39-6 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Stallions: they've now won seven in a row.

Brody Renner had a dynamite game, rushing for 167 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Those 167 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Pueblo Central's run defense was locked in: Sierra could only muster 2.6 yards per carry. The Wildcats' run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.33 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 6.17 on average over their last five games.

Pueblo Central's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-6. As for Sierra, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
