Baseball Recap: Minco Comes Up Short

If Minco was riding high fresh off their 9-1 takedown of Tipton last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Minco came up short against the Weatherford Eagles on Monday, falling 12-5.

Minco's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Weatherford, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Coming up, Minco is taking a road trip to challenge Amber-Pocasset at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Amber-Pocasset's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Minco's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Weatherford, they will be playing at home against Jones at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
