Gilead Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Thursday, but they showed no ill effects. They managed a 38-33 win over Faith Christian Academy. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 35-30 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Gilead Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Issac Gibson out in front who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Max Keller, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gilead Christian will face off against Temple Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Faith Christian Academy, they will take on Mohican Young Star Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
