Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Stratford

Stratford won against Pearl-Cohn last Tuesday with eight runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Spartans beat the Whites Creek Cobras by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 8-5. The game was the first time the Spartans have beaten the Cobras on their field since April 11, 2023.

The win was the third in a row for Stratford, bringing their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Whites Creek, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Stratford will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Cobras: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
