Volleyball Recap: McFarland Triumphs

McFarland lost to Waukesha West two weeks ago, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Spartans came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Spartans.

Kayla Landerud paced McFarland's offense, picking up ten kills. Landerud got some help from Callie Spanos and her 13 assists. Landerud also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Alex Faust, each putting up four.

Despite the loss, Waukesha West still got an impressive performance from Ruby Friess, who had nine assists and three aces.
