Basketball Recap: St. Raymond Boys' Win Ends Three-Game Losing Streak on the Road

St. Raymond Boys won the last time they faced Mt. St. Michael Academy, and Brandon Stores, Jr. did his part to make sure it happened again. The St. Raymond Boys Ravens strolled past the Mt. St. Michael Academy Mountaineers with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 71-55 thanks in part to Stores, Jr., who went 15 for 24 en route to 31 points. His afternoon made it 13 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Zaire Johnson, who posted ten points. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024.

St. Raymond Boys' win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-9. As for Mt. St. Michael Academy, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Raymond Boys has already played their next contest (against Monsignor Scanlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mt. St. Michael Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Holy Cross at 6:30 p.m.
