Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is O'neill's Ninth in Last Ten Outings

Battle Creek came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against O'Neill, but Hannah Hilker wouldn't allow it. The O'Neill Eagles walked away with a 56-47 win over the Battle Creek Braves on Saturday thanks in part to Hilker, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc to rack up 27 points. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played.

Mady Heiss was another key player, going 6 of 12 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. Those 14 points gave her a new career-high.

O'Neill is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.
