Softball Recap: Corona Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Corona's offense. They lost 8-0 to the Roosevelt Mustangs on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost nine in a row.

Corona's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Roosevelt, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-8-1 record this season.

Corona will face off against Paloma Valley at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. Roosevelt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
