Football Recap: Lake County Falls to Obion County in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Lake County unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Obion County Rebels on Friday, falling 33-8. Surprisingly, this marked the Falcons' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Obion County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tucker Moore, who rushed for 167 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Derek Argo, who rushed for 88 yards and one touchdown.

Coming up, Lake County will venture away from home to challenge St. Benedict at Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Obion County, they will challenge Gibson County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
