Basketball Game Preview: Rossville Christian Academy Wolves vs. North Delta Green Wave

Rossville Christian Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against North Delta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wolves will be home for the holidays to greet the Green Wave at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Rossville Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five contests.

While Rossville Christian Academy's victory against St. Benedict at Auburndale wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wolves sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 76-73 win over the Eagles on Monday. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Seth Williams was his usual excellent self, shooting 53% from the field en route to 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Motley, who posted eight points in addition to five boards and five steals.

Meanwhile, North Delta unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 53-49 to Indianola Academy on Thursday.

Rossville Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for North Delta, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Everything came up roses for Rossville Christian Academy against North Delta when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as the squad secured a 62-24 win. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Green Wave have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
